Fire Fighting and Evacuation Drill

Course Objectives

The objectives of this course are:

To expose participants to the principle causes of fire and ways to prevent fire.
To train participants on the theory and practical of fire-fighting techniques and equipment
To prepare participants on how to handle any occurrence of fire at the place of work while waiting for the help from the Fire Department to arrive.

Target Audience

Members of Emergency Response Team (ERT) or employees responsible for planning and managing emergency at workplace.

Methodology

Lecture, video shows, practical demonstration of fire equipment and mock drill.

Trainer Zulhaimi

Zulhaimi graduated from Valparaiso University Indiana U.S.A. with a BSc. Degree In Electrical (Electronic) Engineering. He further completed his Master in Chemical Engineering majoring in Health, Safety and Environment at University Technology Malaysia (UTM). Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Human Factor In Accident Prevention, UTM.
