  • Understand the structure and use of the Dodge–Romig system of sampling plans
  • Create and judge the OC curve for a single-sampling plan for attributes
  • Use single-, double-, multiple- and sequential-Sampling plans.
  • Evaluate sampling plans by referring to OC Curve, AOQ, ASN and ATI
  • Apply and use of acceptance sampling standards of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and Z1.9
  • Design single-sampling and double-sampling plans for attributes
  • Use the Dodge–Romig system of sampling plans for critical items
  • Use the Microsoft Excel functions to create an OC curve
  • Use the acceptance sample results as an evidence and information for quality function
  • Select appropriate sampling plan for certain requirement of the product
