Course Objectives

To help the participants to:

• Understand the statutory requirements for fire safety.
• Understand the Chemistry of Fire.
• The different Classification of Fires.
• Understand the mandatory Fire Detection and Prevention Systems.
• Use the effective Fire Extinguishing Media for the different types of fires.
• Maintain the different types of Fire Extinguishing System and Equipment.
• Conduct an effective Fire Drill.

Target Audience

Safety and Health Officer, Safety and Health Committee Members, Human Resource Staff with Safety and Health responsibilities, Emergency Response Team Members, Fire Squad Members, Supervisors and Heads of Department
