Tractor Safety Training Program

Course Objectives

Identify cause and effect of accident and sensitiveness about safety.
Identify character and the functions of tractor components.
To carry out daily inspection, safety, performance and preventive maintenance to reduce tractor repair cost.
To train tractor drivers become more cautious, safe and efficient.

Target Audience

Our tractor driving course is suitable for all tractor drivers including novices and experienced drivers in agriculture, forestry, industrial and horticulture industries. The course will allow develop and expand where necessary on the skills and safety knowledge required in order to operate the tractor safely and competently.

Methodology

The program consists of classroom lectures, group discussion workshop, Tractor Safety video screening, Applied practical instruction (Hands on), Evaluation (Practical assessment).

Module 2 – Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994
Module 3 – Tractor Components
Module 4 – Daily Pre Start Inspection
Module 6 – Understanding Tractor Gears and Operation Controls
Module 7 – Tractor Handling & Steering Controls
