Lead Auditor Course (ISO 9001:2015 NON-IRCA)

Course Objectives

The ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Course not only provides the training necessary to meet these requirements in full, but also ensures that the audit techniques learnt contribute to continuous improvement.

  • To identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build on the skills of how to plan, structure and conduct an effective audit and to evaluate and communicate the findings.
  • The course is designed to follow the stages in a live audit, including simulated audit interviews and role play closing meetings.

Target Audience

This program is intended for company personnel who are considering the development and implementation of a Quality Management System that is meeting ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 (or equivalent quality system standards) to achieve third party certification, and is particularly relevant to the IATF 16949:2016 steering group representative.

Methodology

This highly participative course is a practically based series of sessions using tutorials, case studies, interactive workshops and open forum discussions culminating with an examination.   • Module 7: Simulation/Live Audit

  • Module 8: Audit sampling, Checklist Preparation, Interviewing Techniques.

  • Module 9: Planning and managing the audit:

  • Module 10: resources and timing

  • Module 11: use of checklists

  • Module 12: selection of audit teams

  • Module 13: Conducting the audit – skills, techniques, and auditor competence:

  • Module 14: evaluating the significance of audit findings

  • Module 15: communicating and presenting audit reports

  • Module 16: Nonconformities and quality improvement as a result of corrective actions

  • Module 17: Non-conformities and Non-conformity Statements.

  • Module 18: Audit Reporting.

  • Module 19: Corrective Action Requests, Monitoring and Follow-up.

  • Module 20: Management of the third-party assessment and certification process
