Overview on 5 ‘S’ Training

Course Objectives

• To ensure all participants are able to implement and practise 5’S’ in their work stations by following
• the five S methodology that helps a workplace remove items that are no longer needed (sort), organize the items to optimize efficiency and flow (straighten), clean the area in order to more easily identify problems (shine), implement color coding and labels to stay consistent with other areas (standardize)
• The 5S method applies standard housekeeping practices in the workplace through the five principles of Sort (seiri), Set in order (seiton), Shine (seiso), Standardize (seiketsu), and Sustain (shitsuke).

Target Audience

Managers, Executives and All employees in the Organizations

Methodology

We will use slides, slide shows, video clips and case studies using actual
examples to ensure all participants understands and are able to effectively
implement 5’s’ in the whole Organization.
