Course Objectives

This training program provides participant with the concept of Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) techniques. Implementing solutions without getting to the true root cause is a waste of money, time & resources. Traditional approach begins with limited information, many actions and lacking focus. Our approach focus on finding the true root cause before proceeding with actions.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

Recognize the 7 wastes at the workplace for process improvement
Understand the 7 Quality Control (QC) Tools that can be used for continuous improvement
Apply the 7 steps of root cause problem solving (RCPS) techniques

Target Audience

Suitable for Manufacturing, Process, Product, Device, Test R&D, Quality Assurance, Assembly, Managers, Engineers & Senior Technicians who are involved in the improvement, characterization, control and maintenance of manufacturing and engineering processes.

Methodology

This program involves interactive lectures, case studies, small group activities, discussions, exercise, experiential learning and presentations.

Azman Ithnin is an experience Engineering Manager for a multinational corporation (MNC). He completed 5 years of military skill training while studying at the Royal Military College in Malaysia. From a humble background of a small village in Johor, he was always seen as a bright and straight A’s student since his tender years. He obtained multiple scholarships during his years of study since the age of 13 years old. He believes that knowledge is “power” to everything that we do.
