Corporate Liability on Corruption : S.17A MACC [Amendment] 2018

Course Objectives

• Understand the rational for the new S.17A Corporate Liability Provision;
• Familiarised with the key features and implications to commercial organisations, Directors, Partners and Management
• Be apprised of the lines of defenses available to Directors, Partners and Management to prove diligence preventing offences envisaged in the Provision;
• Understand the ‘Adequate Procedures’ needed to safeguard the organisation and those charged with governance in line with the Ministerial Guidelines
• Be able to advise their Board, partnership and top management on the key elements of ISO 37001:2016, the new international standard for anti-bribery management systems.
