Course Objectives

Taking into account changing requirements in the automotive industry, German audit standard VDA 6.3/2010 has been revised to VDA6.3/2016. The objective was to reorganize the process audit, making it more precise to current automotive industry needs. The process audit is the link between a System Audit and a Product Audit.

This course provides delegates with an understanding of the audit requirements, concepts, and the roles of the internal auditor in relation to VDA 6.3. This German originated audit guideline focuses on Process Audit during the Product Development Phase and during the Serial Production Phase.

.Participants will learn to:

German Automotive’s process-audit methodology
The relations between product, process and system audit.
Understanding the planning, conducting and reporting on an internal audit performed against the requirements of VDA 6.3.

Target Audience

This course is designed for managers, executive and quality professionals who needs to understand and implement the VDA 6.3 process audit requirements. It is suitable for all involved in initial certification, maintenance and upgrading of auditing knowledge. No prior knowledge is required.
