Daniel Alfred graduates with a Degree in civil engineering from University of Oklahoma, USA. Prior to that, he also obtained a Diploma in civil technology from Humber College, Toronto, Canada. He is a Certified Trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund.
As an independent trainer, he specializes in one focus area: Project Management. Within this area, his expertise and experience have been used to assist his customers in all aspects and levels of a project’s management. His background and previous consulting experience in industries like construction and ICT has enabled him to develop key management skills for training and problem-solving for customers in these industries. In addition, over this decade, he has also trained project managers in industries from heavy engineering (oil and gas, manufacturing) to business services (banking, R&D, telecoms, multi-level marketing and event management). This has been with both project groups – owners and users as well as contractors and vendors. As such, his role as project management trainer today is well-rounded – a trainer quality needed for training classes in project management.
Over the years, Daniel has improved his course material based on his own observations and through feedbacks received from the participant groups. To date, his material has been strengthened in the knowledge presented and the case studies analyzed. His past years experience in training various fields has enhanced his ability to lead in the customer-based workshops during class time.
His experience in the corporate world after years as a senior engineer includes as CEO of HSS Intesys, a project management subsidiary of the HSS Group. More recently, he undertook the role of project director for a multi-site public buildings project and an oil palm waste recycling plant project.
All in all, Daniel has more than 10 years experience in developing training modules and delivering training on planning and managing projects to various industries and for various companies. Customer sectors to date are Construction, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Services, ICT, telecommunications and etc.
