INTRODUCTION

Ms Ee Kei graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Health Science from Taipei Medical Universi- ty (TMU), giving her in-depth knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, nutrition education, food service management, and community nutrition.

She completed her internship at Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital, a hospital with the status of a medical centre in Taiwan. . During her internship, she learned how to use diet to treat a variety of diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, and many others, as well as how to estimate patients’ daily caloric and nutrient requirements and even diet meal planning.

She participated in the Wei Chuan New Product Development Competition during her university studies. Her team came in second place after creating a healthier version of mango black tea jam with only using natural ingredients and less sugar.
