Mr. Mohd Yusof Bin Hussain has over 20 years of experience served in various manufacturing companies as Senior Executive and Assistant Manager (Operations) . His had more than 10 years of experience in handling warehouse system for paper rolls and recycled paper for paper mill operation. His last position for almost 10 years was as the Manager – Safety, Health and Environment. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Diploma in Accounting from UiTM. He is a certified Safety and Health Officer by NIOSH and a registered DOSH’s Safety and Health Officer (registration number JKKP IS 127/438/2/1520). He has been involved in the inspection, auditing and investigation of accidents/incidents and has served as the Safety and Health Committee secretary. Mohd Yusof is also a PSMB registered trainer. He has conducted safety and health and environmental training for the employees of the plant. He planned, coordinated and reviewed the implementation of QSHE (quality, safety, health and environment) management system (ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001 & ISO 14001) in compliance with rules and regulation, including audit and management review. He analysed and reported on QSHE management systems, accidents and near misses, occupational disease at work and recommended improvement. He planned and reviewed HIRARC (hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control), environmental aspect impact and risk management and company ERP programs. He was also in-charge of the plant‘s Emergency Response Team (ERT). He has also been engaged by NIOSH to conduct training for Safety & Health Officers. He has undergone various training both in-house and externally related to safety, health and environment and has been conducting more than 300 session of training since year 2001 in the field of quality, safety, health and environment (QSHE). Training he conducts include Safety Induction Training for new worker, Safety Refresher Course for existing staff, Safety Training for Supervisors, Machine Guarding Safety Training, 5S Housekeeping, Chemical Safety, Job Safety Analysis, HIRARC & Aspect Impact, OSHA 1994 & FMA 1967, Contractors Safety Management, Emergency Response Plan / Fire Safety, Forklift Safety, Motorcycle & group riding safety, Safety Committee Effectiveness, Noise Awareness Training, IMS Training (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001), Internal Audit for IMS System (ISO 9001, 14001 and OSHAS). |
