The trainer holds a Bachelor of Science Industrial (Biology Industry) from University of Malaya and a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is a Certified Food Safety Professional Trainer; a qualification he earned from Alkem University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is also a Professional Member of Malaysian Institute of Food Technologist (MIFT). He is trained by SIRIM, Ministry of Health and DVS (Ministry of Agriculture and Agro Based Product).
He started his career as a Microbiologist and Quality Controller in 2005 and was subsequently promoted to Food Technologist in a multinational organization. He later decided to embark into training and lecturing on Food Safety at University Kebangsaan Malaysia and private colleges. Since the year 2005, he has conducted more than 200 Food Safety Workshops and training programmes to different audience from many walks of lives – factory staff & management, retail managers and executives, restaurant workers & managers, hypermarket staff & management, SME Entrepreneurs and MNC private organizations.
His competencies are in the areas of Basic Food Hygiene, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), 5S, Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), Quality Control Circle (QCC), Total Quality Management (TQM), Industrial Food Microbiology, Industrial Food Laboratory and Food Safety Audit.
His many years of experiences in Food Production, Food Quality Management, Lecturing and Training provided him the credibility and unique advantage to instill food safety values in the participants. He has received raving comments and high commendation on his trainings as captivating, dynamic, inspiring, interesting and practical.
He has published articles, research / conference papers such as “Bioremediation of Textile Wastewater Using Biofilm”, UTM Journal of Biotechnology Engineering (2005); “Capturing Niche HALAL Food Market : Promotion Strategy Perspective”, UPM Journal of Modern Marketing (2008) and “Halal Health Cakes Market – A Case Study Of Secret Recipe Cakes & Café”, MBA Graduates Conference (2008).
He was awarded as the Best Final Year Project Presenter at 2005 Faculty Science UTM Symposium; Top 10 MBA Project & represented UPM for International MBA Conference (2008) and voted Popular Lecturer 2008 by students of RIMA College (2008)
Apart from specializing in Quality Management – Food, he also is well-versed in Management, Problem Solving, Leadership, Customer Service, Business Communication skills for low, middle and management levels.
