INTRODUCTION

Prem, analytic and having a strong knowledge in Technical and Management, obtained his Master’s Degree (in Engineering Business Management) from Asia e University (M’sia) & certified MBA from Oxford Business School (UK). Currently he is doing his Doctorate in Business Management. As a trainer, he wants to empower others with technical and soft skills and always believe that “Practice makes Perfect”.

After his tertiary education, Prem further applied and developed his skills at manufacturing (M’sia and Thailand), where he worked in the Quality Assurance & Quality Controls Department. He spent 10 years specializing in Statistical Process Control, Process Capability Studies, Measurement System Analysis and was certified as Lead Auditor for Quality Management System. Prem is keen to share his statistical expertise and has wide experience in the applications of advanced statistical tools to conduct continuous improvements projects covering FMEA, DOE and 8D CAPA.

In Thailand, Prem worked as an Operations Director where he is involved in the new company setup, factory operations, revenue generation, profitability, employee retention and customer satisfaction. In addition, Prem has strong knowledge and exposure to Six Sigma tools and methodology. He has obtained Six Sigma Black Belt. Prem has worked on several business improvement projects with high cost savings potential.

Highly motivated individual with over 20 years of solid experience in manufacturing. Experienced in training small & large groups across industries and lecturing in Universities (UM, UTM, AeU, UTEM, UMK & IBSS). Proven success in leveraging educational theories and methodologies to design, develop, and deliver successful training programs and integrate industrial technology to provide onsite and virtual training. Adept at organizing and facilitating management and manufacturing improvement programs and activities. Subjects lectured and trained are: Quality programs, Business Ethics Process improvement, Leadership and Supervisory Skills, Motivations, Process Improvement, Managing Changes, Business management, Marketing Strategies and many more. Covering his working experience from both locally and overseas experience has helped developed better understanding for participating students, Trained & lectured students from various industries (Manufacturing, Medical, Banking & Hotel).
