INTRODUCTION

Assoc. Prof. Yahaya Bin Ramli holds a Masters degree in Fluid Power Systems from the University of Bath, UK, an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from ITM, Shah Alam, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, from UTM, Kuala Lumpur. He is also a Registered Subcontract Technical Assessor with Jabatan Standard Malaysia (DSM), a Certified and Qualified ISO / IEC 17025 Technical Assessor, and a Certified and Qualified Auditor / Lead Auditor, ISO9001:2000.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of training and development. Over the years, he had developed many training materials and modules and had delivered them to various clients ranging from SMIs to MNCs, some of which are Boiler and Steam Generation Boilerman, Boiler Operation and Maintenance, The Fundamentals for Boilerman, The Guide to Operations Excellence, etc.

Prior to his training career, he has been holding various technical and management positions from production supervisor, project manager, to assistant plant manager, and plant superintendent. He has acquired vast experience in the boiler and steam generation areas, he is often sort after for advice and consultancy services both internally and externally.

In senior positions he always supervised and managed his subordinates, coaching and guiding them towards excellence. As his internal training department was an active one and besides their usual training routine, they also get involved in external works, to deliver training programs to staffs from other organizations. By doing so, he had co-developed training modules and materials for these technical courses including the very famous Boiler and Steam Generation for Boilerman.

 Some of the companies that have enjoyed his training sessions are Bukit Kepayang Oil Palm Mill, LPG Export Terminal (Petronas), Kuantan Port industrial Area, Pyrometro Services, Nusantara Technology, Genetec Technology Berhad  to name a few.
