INTRODUCTION

Stephen is currently advising and training organizations of various industries in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Business Excellence Programs, ISO / TS 16949, ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, HSPM QC 080000, HACCP, ISO 13485, Integrated Management Systems and others.  Besides being a Certified Advisor cum Trainer, he is a Certified Third Party Certification Body Auditor in ISO / TS 16949 (International Automotive Task Force, IATF), ISO 9000 QMS, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000 EMS (IRCA) as well as ISO 22000 FSMS.

He is one of the few consultants in Malaysia who is also a Certified Third Party Certification Body Lead Auditor in ISO / TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 22000 Management Systems.  At present, he has consulted, trained and audited more than 100 organizations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and China in various industries.

He holds a Master in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University Putra Malaysia.  At present, he is pursuing his PhD in Business Administration.   His professional credentials range from being an IATF Certified ISO / TS 16949 Auditor, IRCA Registered ISO 9000 QMS Lead Auditor, IRCA Registered ISO 14000 EMS Lead Auditor, IRCA OHSAS 18001 : 1999 Lead Auditor, IRCA Registered ISO 22000 Auditor, Certified Consultant in Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health, Food Safety, Laboratory and other Management Systems.  He also holds a Certificate of Vocational Education & Training (CVET), Australia.

He has 9 years of ISO / TS 16949 Third Party Auditing experience, 9 years of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS & ISO 22000 Third Party Auditing experience, 9 years of Consultation & Training experiences, 6 years in automotive related manufacturing industry and is the Third Party auditor to several certification bodies in Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

His extensive industrial experiences in various sectors included Automotive Product Manufacturing, Paper Cushion & Packaging, Corrugated Carton, Rubber & Plastic (blow molding, injection molding, extrusion); Chemical Industries (pesticide, chemical dilution), Textile and Garment Manufacturing, Metal Products Manufacturing, Wood & Furniture Manufacturing, Printing, Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing, Construction, Medical, Semiconductor and others.

He is one of the experts in Quality Management with industrial experiences both as a Consultant / Trainer / Auditor and as a Quality Manager in a leading manufacturing company.  Some of his programmes are Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Measurement System Analysis, Towards “Green” Automotive Global Standards, ISO 14001: 2004 EMS Waste Management, Understanding Of OSH Legal & Other Requirements, ISO 13485 Internal Auditing, Testing & Calibration System, ISO / IEC 17025 Requirement Understanding, HACCP, GMP, 8D In Problem Solving, Problem Solving The Toyota Way, Kaizen, Total Quality Management, Poka Yoke, Design Of Experiment and many others.

He is a qualified trainer who can conduct programmes in Bahasa Malaysia and English languages.
