INTRODUCTION

Edwin brings along 25 years of working experience in MNC, covering Maintenance, Operation, Engineering and Safety and currently courses for manufacturing and service industries. His training is of Hands On approach at production floor, blended with classroom activities. He is formally trained in South Korea and well equipped with Japanese concepts such as 5S, TPM, Poka Yoke, Kiken Yochi and had managed Engineering & Maintenance departments.

He began his career in manufacturing industry as Operation Supervisor, before joining Samsung SDI (M) in 1992, where he developed career from Maintenance Supervisor to Senior Engineer,  before embarking as a freelance trainer in 2007.

In his previous career , he has handled and managed engineering, maintenance projects, manpower control, setup of shop floor training centre, Safety, Lockout Tagout implementation, establishing innovations, cost saving, reduction of machinery downtime, implementing 5S,TPM and Autonomous maintenance including training of operators, technicians, supervisors and engineers.

His training background includes conducting technical courses for MAHB (Malaysian Airport Holding Berhad) covering baggage handling system, Mechanical Power Transmission, Pump Maintenance Technology & Fluid Power System (Hydraulic & Pneumatic) and for KLAS (Kuala Lumpur Airport Services) he had trained engineering staffs on Bearing Maintenance & Lubrication. As for Westport he had done training covering Bearing,Lubrication and Hydraulic System for RTG Crane and Quay Crane.

For Edra and Sarawak Energy Powerplants he conducted trainings on Overhead Crane Operation Safety, Bearing and Lubrication and Maintenance Of Rotating Equipments. He had also trained staff of Daihatsu Perodua Engines, Perodua Assembly Plant, Honda Assembly and Steel Manufacturing Plants. On the international front, he has also conducted courses for C
