INTRODUCTION

Yuvaraja obtained his Master and Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Management from National University of Malaysia and a Mechanical Engineering Diploma from Faculty of Engineering Institute of Further Technical Education Malaysia.

He has been an OSH Practitioner since 1989 and has attained several professional competencies accredited by ministry as a Registered Safety & Health Officer; a Registered Noise Competent Person; a Registered & Competent Scaffold Erector- Frame Type & Tubular Type; a Registered Forklift Trainer and a Registered NIOSH & PSMB trainer.

Since his early days he has attended numerous Occupational Safety & Health trainings, seminars and conferences held throughout the country organized by Government and other professional bodies. He is also a recognized and appointed as an Associate Occupational Safety & Health Trainer by NIOSH Malaysia. He specializes in Industrial Forklift Truck Safety and other Powered industrial Trucks. He has been a Professional OSH Trainer with more than 25 years of experience working for PROTON, NIOSH and many other consultants and training providers all over the country.

Throughout his career stint, he has 4 years of working experience as a production Technician and 23 years of professional experience as a Safety & Health Practitioner serving locally and abroad for PROTON Berhad Malaysia & PROTON Cikarang, INDONESIA from 1985 onwards. He has acquired an extensive experience in OSH Management since 1989. His expertise and hands-on experience encompasses the area of Occupational Safety & Health Management, Process Studies, Engineering & Maintenance, Project Management, Industrial OSH Management, Environmental Monitoring, Risk Assessment, Safety Audits, Industrial Accident Investigation, and Emergency Response Management & Safety Program Management.

The course he has been called to conduct frequently are Forklift Truck Safety, Hearing Conservation, Effective Safety & Health Committee, and Safety & Health for Supervisors, Safety workshop for Line Management staffs. He have many years of experience facilitating hundreds of in house Forklift Safety training’s and other OSH related training’s for countless companies which includes TNB, DRB HICOM, ESSO, PERODUA,TESCO, STAR, UTUSAN MALAYSIA, HONG LEONG MALAYSIA, F&N, ALSTROM POWER PLANT, BP PETRONAS, KENCANA PETROLEUM MALAYSIA, Malaysian Airport Berhad, Dupont, SAMSUNG, BERJAYA GROUP, PROTON, EON and many more.

He upgrades his knowledge, skills and competency by regularly attending courses, seminars and conferences, namely Crane Maintenance & Handler, Vocational Training Officer, Ergonomics, Behavioral Based Safety BBS, Chemical Health Risk Assessment and many others.
