Course Objectives

Understanding the carriage of dangerous cargo Familiarizing  the contents of the IMDG & IATA rulings. Explaining the classes of DG and packing groups

A mandatory program for all personnel involving directly and indirectly in managing, handling and documenting dangerous goods of an organization. Executives and Managers from Finance, Marketing, Planning, Operations are highly recommended to attend.

Module 1 : Background and Focus of IMO ( International Maritime Organization ) and IMDG code

Module 2 : Cassification of dangerous goods into the 9 classes Under the IMDG ruling

Module 3 : Packing Groups of IATA Dangerous Goods in relation to the degree and kind of danger

Module 4 : Delivery procedures of cargo tendering in FCL and ULD for Dangerous Goods Imported and Exported 

Module 5 : Dangerous Goods Transport Documentation Requirement and the Shipper’s Declaration Form
