Course Objectives

  • Understand the basic chemistry and physic of fire and the products of combustion
  • Understand the effects of fire disaster on human being and human behavior in fire.
  • Understand and able to identify fire hazards associated with workplaces, evaluate the fire risk level and taking adequate control measures at your workplace.
  • Understand the use and operation of fire protection equipment and systems such as fire detection, fire alarm and fire suppression system & portable fire extinguishers.
  • Understand the basics for victim evacuation.
