Methodology

Team Resilience is the capacity of a group of people to response to change and disruption in a flexible and innovative manner. In the face of adversity, resilient team maintain their work, productivity while minimizing toll on their members.

Course Modules

MODULE 1: CREATING & BUILDING TEAM

Introduction:

The Creating a Team is an activity to get team to develop common goals, values and strategy in the Virtual Team Challenge. Team will be divided into small group teams to discuss and clarify their roles and responsibilities. Team members also identify their team goals and values. Team will then also choose their roles and identify their strengths, potential risks and limitations in the character 

Methodology:

  • Stimulating activities will maximize the understanding and teach through games with Team Challenge. This also explores the interactive learning approach problem solving, decision making and team bonding.

Learning Elements:

  • Appreciate Team Values and Goals
  • What can I contribute to the TEAM?
  • Becoming ONE in TEAM

Outcomes:

  • Exploring the meaning of ‘togetherness and being ONE’
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively in team
  • Working together as ONE – each individual is important

Identifying Individual and Team Strengths

MODULE 2: WELCOME to JUMANJI

Introduction:

Welcome to the JUMANJI puts the team under pressure with a series of decisions and tasks. This game exposes the individual characteristics within a team. The objective of this activity is to complete as many challenges and task given to them in order and to become the first team to complete the race and challenges. Welcome to the Jungle provides activities to align the participants to the Values, Principles and Objectives of the organization. Examines what are the values to the team and how they will demonstrate these values in life and at work.

Methodology:

  • Stimulating activities will maximize the understanding and teach through games with Individual Team Challenge. This also explore the interactive learning approach problem solving and decision-making skills

Learning Elements:

  • Plan your team’s Action Strategically
  • Appreciate Team Values
  • What can I contribute to the TEAM?
  • Creating Synergy in Team

Outcomes:

  • Acknowledging issues and challenges working as a team and identify the role and responsibilities that individual plays in developing team synergy
  • Create an effective working relationship with team members through trust building
  • Individual coaching and team coaching to achieve their goals

MODULE 3: The NEXT Level

Introduction:

The NEXT Level objective is for participants to face the new and next level of challenge in the fastest time. At the end of the Team Initiative exercise, participants will be able to identify the opportunities and challenges in applying CHANGE (planning and strategies)

Methodology:

Continuous learning – instead of advocating their own positions, enter into dialogues of genuine inquiry. Experiential Learning Concept – Learning by Doing and Reflecting. Work Attitude Motivation Profile – Goal Orientated or Problem Solving Driven, Group or Individual Environment

Learning Elements:

  • Accept and embrace change
  • Demonstrate Effective Team communication
  • Rectify Team improvements and share information appropriately
  • The important of learning from mistakes
  • TEAM Decision

Outcomes:

  • Address issues and challenges working as a team and remove silo mentality for excellence
  • Ability to adapt and embrace changes
  • Recognise how different roles contribute towards achieving a common department and organisation goal

MODULE 4: Getting Out ALIVE

Introduction:

The Getting Out ALIVE is design as a tool for participants to learn and create value in the following areas:

  • Plan your team’s Action Strategically
  • Appreciate Team Values
  • Coming as ONE Team
  • Creating Synergy in Team

It is also a great tool to look at how the team address problems, issues and challenges.

Methodology:

Action based activities where participants will be experiencing final level of challenges and changes that will require critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making approach.

  • Understanding Team Goals & Motivation
  • Rectify Team improvements and share information appropriately
  • The important of learning from mistakes
  • Leadership in a TEAM
  • Accepting Challenge and embracing Change

Outcomes:

  • Acknowledging issues and challenges working as a team and identify the role and responsibilities that individual plays in developing focus, team synergy and embracing new complexities
  • Identify the strength and improvement area towards working as a TEAM

• Recognize individual and team effort that contribute towards the success of goal

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Marketing and E-Commerce from University of Curtin, Australia. He also attained a Diploma in Hotel Catering and Management from the American Hotel and Motel Association. He is a Certified Trainer under the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia).
