On completion the course, delegates will be in a position to carry out a critical appraisal of their company’s calibration (mechanical – caliper, micrometer, etc) requirements and develop a cost effective calibration programme to meet the company’s needs. This course is based on the requirements of ISO 9001 series and the requirements of ISO 10012-1, Quality Assurance requirements for measuring equipment.
Manager and technical staff of testing and Managers of calibration system; suppliers of measuring equipment; electrical/electronic manufacturers with in-house calibration system; and personnel responsible for establishing calibration system to meet the ISO 9001 requirements.
This course combines a balance of lectures and workshop sessions to maximise the learning process. It involves a high level of delegate participation using group exercises to evaluate typical calibration problems developed is assessment of calibration systems.
