INTRODUCTION

Fab graduated in Linguistics and Education from Toronto and Birmingham. As an educationist in communication and leadership for the last thirty-five years, she uses her rich experiences in nurturing leaders from diverse backgrounds. As a Head of Department for the Centre for Languages for various universities, she was appointed a panel member on the recruitment board for selection and promotion.

Fab was instrumental in setting up the Clinical School of the International Medical University in Seremban which is adjacent to the Seremban Hospital. She was the Senior Administrator for the IMU Clinical School which she was also responsible in the recruitment and promotion of staff throughout her tenure in this esteemed outfit. In 2008 until 2017, Fab was entrusted in the selection of potential scholarship recipients of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation. She has concocted the leadership competency profiling and assessment method which she has tested and proved the validity and reliability of these assessment tools.

In 2009, Fab has been invited to join the PETRONAS Leadership Centre where she has kept a steep learning curve in the areas of leadership, coaching, talent acquisition, talent Management and employee performance management. She was involved in strategic planning and work-outs to produce the Key Performance Indicators of the Centre. Here she took the opportunity to learn more on the competency-based interviews as well as behavioral event interviews.

Fab, as better known by her friends and participants, is a certified leadership coach and a certified trainer for Crucial Conversation and leadership programmes. Her strengths in research have significantly contributed to her stellar designs of leadership learning solutions for both corporate and civil sectors. In her recent trips to Cairo and Ashgabat to conduct a special customized programme for managers; for PETRONAS Egypt Operation and Turkmenistan Operation, she has learned so much on the Egyptian and Turkmen cultural diversity which enriches her experiences as a coach and facilitator.

Her passion is to design motivation and leadership camps for school and university students, travel to explore leadership games and programmes in other countries and writing her vignettes of her childhood and teaching experiences in many places she has had the pleasure to contribute.F
