INTRODUCTION

The Trainer is an Occupational Safety & Health Consultant & Trainer with qualifications from Camden University USA, Fire Service College United Kingdom, Lancashire County Fire Brigade Training Centre UK and Civil Aviation Training Centre Singapore. He is a member of the Institution of Fire Engineering UK and National Fire Protection Association USA.

The Trainer has served The Malaysian Armed Forces for over 20 years and has been placed under various safety organizations as RMAF Fire Director, Fire Chief Instructor, Station Fire Officer, Fire Inspector, Fire Investigator, Safety & Health Auditor, Safety Investigator and has held posts as President of Board Inquiry, Board Member and Expert Witness while under appointment with the Armed Forces Accident Investigation Process Team.

In 1996, he left the Armed Forces and joined Telekom Malaysia Bhd as a Safety and Health Consultant where he was responsible for training and consulting services for the whole of Telekom Malaysia.

The Trainer having been actively involved in the local Occupational Safety and Health arena and brings with him approximately 30 years of working experience providing expertise, training and consultancy services to the public. Some of his involvements include that of Project Leader in the implementation of Behaviour Based Safety for TNB Distribution for the state of Selangor and Pahang for a year.

His involvements also include developing   15 OSH Training Modules for the TNB Safety School, Project Leader for developing and upgrading emergency response plans for two power plants, namely the Sultan Azlan Shah Power Plant in Manjung and the Sultan Iskandar Power Plant in Pasir Gudang as well as developing   Marine Safety & Health training programs for the Malaysian International Shipping Corporation for 3 years.  

With many years of combined management and consulting experience, he understands the consequences, challenges and difficulties associated with safety concepts and philosophies.

In training, his specialisation includes areas of Safety Management System, Safety Motivation, Emergency Response and Preparedness, Behaviour Based Safety, Risk Management, Chemical Safety, Confined Space Safety, Fire Safety, Aircraft Fire Fighting and Shipboard Safety Officer.

He is a speaker of exceptional calibre and has addressed various, seminars, clinics and courses in the country.
