INTRODUCTION

Puan Sabariah, has over 30 years of experience in teaching, training, management, research and development in adult learning, particularly in corporate and higher learning education. She holds a MSc in Information Processing from University of York, a BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics from Adelaide University and also the Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the Malaysian Ministry of Education. Over the decades, she has been involved extensively in soft skills courses development, delivery and post-workshop consultations. While she was in the educational institutions, Puan Sabariah was responsible in the development and accreditation of various academic programmes in her faculty.

These involved the staff training and research in related fields. Puan Sabariah has vast experience in guiding and counseling students, especially those who are under her mentorship. She was voted “The Best Lecturer 2005” by the students of her faculty. Puan Sabariah is also interested in e-learning, and while she was the Head of the Instructional Technology Unit of Universiti Industri Selangor, she oversaw the utilization of e-learning via the open source learning management system called Moodle. She has written and presented at conferences, several papers related to e-learning and Moodle.

Today Puan Sabariah utilizes her skills, experiences and passions as a soft-skills trainer/facilitator where she believes with the proper training and guidance, everyone can achieve the optimum results in whatever pursuit he/she takes.
Her recent training activities include giving talks to selected schools on behalf of Panasonic Malaysia and as a trainer for GEMS, SL1M GREEN and SL1M. She also conducts sessions in some schools gratis, as her personal CSR. Her main areas are Communication/Interpersonal Skills, Presentation skills, Stress Management, Time Management, Problem Solving, EQ, 4IR and Project and Event Management. She is also interested in Cultural Intelligence and Managing Social Media.
