INTRODUCTION

Zaimi  holds various qualifications in the Safety and Health domain. With a Diploma in Environmental Health from Public Health Institute, Malaysia; he also holds other professional qualification in the area of Management, Occupational Safety & Health, KYT Training and Lifting Appliances.  His interest in the training and development arena has brought him to gaining numerous professional recognitions such as from DOSH, NIOSH and MSOSH.

With more than 10 years of training experience, he has gained reputation as a renowned Safety and Health Speaker. For the last decade, he has shared his knowledge and experience in the Occupational Safety and Health with thousands of employees through numerous consultancy and training programs.   As a Professional Trainer, his area of expertise include the Occupational Safety & Health, Crane & Forklift Safety, Workplace Assessment, Environmental Audit (ISO 14001) and many more.

Besides that he is also well trained in the Safety and Health Management System, namely OHSAS 18001 as well as the ISO 14001 Environmental Management.  Having received proper training from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and SIRIM Malaysia, Zaimi is very passionate about educating the public.

In 2006, he was one of the pioneer group to undergo a prestigious course entitled KYT Programme or Hazard Prediction Programme from the Japan Industrial Centre for Occupational Safety and Health (JICOSH), Tokyo, Japan and he is now a competent trainer to conduct the course in Malaysia.  In the past, he has served the Malaysian Government as the Environmental Health Officer in Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam. He then worked as a Safety and Health Practitioner with a multinational company manufacturing electronic products and consumer goods.  Being a person particular about staff development and education, he has designed, developed and delivered various training programs for his subordinates and peers.   

Some of such programs include Optimizing Workplace Safety & Health, Setting Up A Safety Committee, OSH-EMS, Forklift Safety, Safety In Handling Crane and other Lifting Appliances, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control, Effective Machine Guarding, Noise Hearing Conservation, Understanding OSHA 1994 & Its Regulations, Basic Chemical Handling, Basic Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Accident Investigation and etc.
