Effective On-Job Training (O.J.T) Workshop

Course Objectives

This 2-day workshop is designed to equip participants with a simple and effective method for
training employees on the job. With some practice, participants will be able to conduct an OJT
session with confidence and become a successful OJT trainer. Only experience will provide the
skills needed to feel accomplished at presenting OJT training.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
 Differentiate the several categories of training intervention in an organization
 Apply adult learning theory and experiential training
 Write learner objectives geared to specific training needs.
 Develop an on-the-job training plan.
 Identify methods for evaluating the effectiveness of training

Supervisors, managers and senior level professionals / technical personnel who provide training or plan to provide training to their employees on the job.
