ISO 45001:2018 Requirements Training (Online Training)

Course Objectives

ISO 45001, the new OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM replaces OHSAS 18001:2007, last saw revisions in 2007 in the previous standard as OHSAS 18001:2007. ISO published the standard in March 2018. ISO 45001 will be one of ISO’s most important standards, with many major purchasers requiring suppliers to hold a certificate.

For organizations which have been implementing OHSAS 18001:2007, with the publication of the ISO 45001 standards, a review of the OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM will be required to adapt to new requirements.

.Participants will learn to:

  • Upgrade an existing OHSMS to meet ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
  • Differentiate between the purpose and intent of the 2007 and new 2018 standards.
  • Use words new to the potential new ISO 45001:2018
  • Aware and understand the latest ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
  • Distinguish the main difference between OHSAS 18001:2007 and the new ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS requirements.
  • Conclude the major impact of ISO 45001:2018 requirements to their own OHSMS
  • Formulate the transition plan for ISO 45001:2018

Target Audience

This course is intended for company personnel who are considering the development and implementation of a OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM that is meeting ISO 45001:2018 to achieve third party certification, and is particularly relevant to the ISO 45001 steering group representative.

Methodology
