Mr. Nair is a seasoned professional in the corporate and media industry. Training & Development came naturally, through his years of experience gained while working in these industries.
Nair has over 20 years of public relations, crisis management, media relations and journalism experience. He understands the needs and requirement of a corporation and the media. This special skill set has given him the advantage for company branding by defining and executing successful PR campaigns and advising on crisis management.
Nair lived and worked in New Zealand where he earned numerous credentials. Among them, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Enterprise, Six Sigma Black Belt, Certificate in Traffic Management, Host Hospitality Certificate, Vedic Math Tutor Certificate and ESOL Tutor Certificate, to name a few. These credentials were put into practice effectively.
While in New Zealand, through English language partners, Nair tutored migrants from 20 different countries. Nair actively volunteered his time to help many migrants to settle in New Zealand as well as to be conversant in the English language and local customs. . The ability to greet others in 16 different languages was a great icebreaker when meeting migrants of various nationalities.
Nair also facilitated training sessions for Business English Language tutors to train over 5000 graduates under GEMS, the Graduate Employability Management Scheme, a scheme initiated by the Ministry of Finance of Malaysia. In the sessions, graduates learnt to employ various skills of business English communication in a Working Environment, email writing and correspondence, public speaking & presentation, public relations, leadership and crisis management.
While in the corporate and media sector, Nair honed his skills for his future progression to training and development through his dealings with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd, Guinness Anchor Bhd, ESPN, Volvo, Celcom, Malaysian Airport Bhd, Kota Permai Golf and Country Club and numerous other companies through his contact as a Journalist and Senior Writer.
These clients benefitted from his wealth of crisis management and PR experience to assist them in creating a positive branding of their image and customer care. Nair has been developing ways in which the image and integrity of firms could be improved to generate more business opportunities through human capital development.
