Course Objectives

Understand the basic of occupational safety and health and the principle of accident prevention as part of ERP preventive
Prepare for emergencies in the workplace
Develop the hierarchy of commands and control for Emergency Management and Emergency Response Teams in term of structure, roles and function of various key personnel during emergency
Understand the concept of management in a time of uncertainty. Lead and contribute directly in emergency situations
Familiar with National policy mechanism on disaster relief & crisis management and coordinates with local authorities
Understand the requirement of law with regard to ERP
Be familiar with all kinds of probable emergencies scenarios in the workplace
Understand and experienced how to response to emergencies situations

Target Audience

Safety & Health Officers, Safe & Health Committee Members, Emergency Response Team Members, Fire & Rescue Squad Members, First Aids Members, Spill Response & Control Team Members and OSH Practitioners.

Methodology

It is a highly interactive program where speakers can share their knowledge and experiences about the topic and problem areas the participants need to know. It consists of lectures, tabletop or simulation exercises and syndicate presentation.
