Module 1: Introduction and Methods

  • Participants will delve deeper into more complex systems mapping and analysis.
  • They will identify leverage points within the systems that can lead to improved efficiency.

Module 5: Advanced Root Cause Analysis Exercises

  • Participants will conduct a detailed Root Cause Analysis on more complex, real-life scenarios from Exxon

Module 7: Deep Dive – Systems Thinking & Root Cause Analysis

Tool Exploration and Suggestion

  • Introduce potentially new and relevant tools for Systems Thinking and Root Cause Analysis, like computer-based simulation models.

Module 8: Real-life Application Exercise

  • Participants will apply learned concepts and tools to real, current projects or challenges faced by Exxon.

Module 9: Development of Action Plans

  • Participants will develop actionable plans to implement improvements identified through Systems Thinking and Root Cause Analysis.

Module 10: Group Discussion: Implementation Challenges

  • Discussion on potential challenges in implementing learned concepts and tools in their current environment

Module 11: Closing Remarks and Next Steps

  • Discussion on the way forward, including potential follow-up workshops, continuous learning opportunities, and support in implementing the action plans.
