Course Objectives

Upon completion of this program, the participants will be able to:

• Stabilize shop floor conditions and significantly reduce equipment failures.
• Promote cooperation between maintenance and operations personnel for more effective
  equipment management.
• Enhance operator knowledge of the structure of the equipment
• Improve organization’s Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Increase more equipment capacity, to produce more without further new investment in equipment.

Methodology

The course is highly interactive; participants will be guided through the various steps of the course
and will be involved in extensive exercising and few numbers of examples and case studies.
Communication medium can be in Malay or in English or Both. The course incorporates;

• Sample formats, examples and exercises.
• Group discussion, individual and group presentation.
