This 2-day training program seeks to provide practical understanding and application of the principles of establishing job grades and effective compensation management for participants. Hands on exercises will be provided to allow participants an experiential exposure of the principles in action.
This program is meant for HR Managers and Senior Executives or any role that handles job grading, developing salary scales and salary administration.
The training will be conducted mainly in the form of lectures with emphasis on discussions on practical issues currently faced by participants in their workplace. Participants are required to work in teams with calculators and spreadsheets.

Chan Wang Tak has in total more than 30 years’ experience in Human Resource Management and consultancy. He is an experienced course facilitator, having conducted training for banks, commercial organizations, factories, GLCs both in management and specialized human resource management programs. In consultancy, he has serviced multinationals from USA, Japan and Korea as well local conglomerates. He has served as a Panel Member of the Industrial Court of Malaysia, is presently an elected Councillor of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management, and one of its senior consultants.
