Course Objectives

Understand the statistical concepts underpinning Statistical Process Control.
Understand the effects of variation on processes and be able to use that understanding to make sound decisions.
Be able to conduct Process Capability Studies and apply Control Charts in your workplace.
Interpret the output of Statistical Process Control methods effectively, avoiding misconceptions and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Target Audience

Department Heads, Engineers and Supervisors responsible for manufacturing, quality assurance, product and/or service development and product and/or improvement.

Methodology

This program will be delivered through Case studies, which are built through actual working environments, small group practical exercises, small group discussion, facilitator presentations, skill practices, application planning and walk-through simulations
