Course Objectives

At the end of this sessions, participants should be able to:

  • Determine what a passionate leader should to do mobilise the workforce towards desired

  • Establish a structured competency infrastructure to enable the workforce to uplift
  • performance,
  • Monitor, measure and    manage    workforce    performance    towards    continuous improvement,
  • Engage the workforce to sustain work performance.

  • Today, organisations are facing unprecedented challenges
  • What leaders need to do at the functional level during crisis, and how to transform crisis into a potential opportunity?
  • What leaders need to do at the functional level to support Business OKR, in the

4 key business perspectives?

  1. Customer’s experience
  2. Process effectiveness and efficiency

III.      Talent development

  1. Financial gains
  • And, organisations are facing the needs to recraft the way things to be done
  • How functional  leaders  should  adapt  in  a  ‘do  more  with  less’  working environment?
  1. Recraft leaner processes to achieve OKR
  2. Manage with limited resources to achieve OKR

III.      Tangle the team to go through ‘disruptions’ to achieve OKR

 

MODULE 2 : Now, How Should Leaders Think and Act?

  • Ask, where are we now?
  • Reflect, how did we get to where we are now?
  • What decisions have led to our current situation?
  • What activities are we doing that are important to our current success?
  • And now, where do we want to go from here – what is our next OKR?
  • So, how do we get from where we are today, to our next OKR?
  • What obstacles will we have to overcome to achieve our next OKR?
  • What additional knowledge or resources will we need to achieve our next OKR?

 

MODULE 3 : So, How Should Leaders Mobilise the Workforce Towards Desired OKR?

  • Align the workforce on business’ purpose – why do we exist?
  • Establish common business objectives among the workforce – what do we need to
  • excel at, to ensure our existence relevance?
  • Identify key results to focus on – what is our key milestones?
  • Determine change agenda – how should we do better?
  • Uplift workforce competency – do we have the competency infrastructure to perform
  • better?
  • Uplift workforce ‘Strategic Thinking’ competency
  • Uplift workforce ‘Assertive Communication’ competency
  • Uplift workforce ‘Influential People Management’ competency
  • Uplift workforce ‘Executive Effectiveness & Efficiency’ competency

Trainer Roy

Roy holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. He started off as a Software Engineer and slowly ventured into the Oil & Gas Sector as a Transport Manager under a SHELL haulage contractor; to finally find himself as a Sales Manager in an IT solutions firm. Due to his keen drive to network and build business relationships, he started his own systems integrator business in 2007. During his entrepreneurship, he became involved with Business Network International (BNI), an international business networking body and served as its previous chapter vice-president and president. He is still an advocate and currently serves as a Director Consultant.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Marketing and E-Commerce from University of Curtin, Australia. He also attained a Diploma in Hotel Catering and Management from the American Hotel and Motel Association. He is a Certified Trainer under the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia).
