Course Objectives

In this program, you will learn how to:

Methodology

30% interactive lecture, 40% activities, 15% group discussions, 15% action-plan presentations

Can be conducted 100% in English, 100% in BM or in a mixture of both.

Course Modules

  • Module 1: Fundamentals of Communication : who am I talking to?

    • Ask the right questions to find out who the person really is
    • Learn about the different types of communication styles people have
    • Various tools to test someone’s personality even when chatting with them
    • Include these words so others will feel connected with you
    • NLP strategies to connect with different types of people
    • Interactive session, personality-tests, behavioral tools application and group discussions.

     

    Module 2: Interpersonal Influence : getting others to follow what you say

    • Differentiate the different thinking modes in your co-workers
    • Request things from others using the correct phrases
    • Talk to others based on the way they think so they can understand you
    • Erase communication barriers and influence others more effectively
    • Optimize work relationships using NLP
    • Hands-on group activities to improve your influence
    • Interactive session, in-class demonstrations, mind-sharpening game and group presentations.

     

    Module 3: Effective communication and Office conflicts

    • Apply psychological weapons to break down interpersonal walls
    • Look for body language clues to know how someone’s really feeling
    • Vocal tools : how to use your voice to avoid conflicts
    • Improve the trust among colleagues and with customers
    • NLP methods to build back a broken work relationship
    • Interactive session, case-discussions, simulations, inter-group challenges.

     

    Module 4: How to Deal with Difficult People

    • Do this one thing and you will win the heart of a difficult person
    • Respond to complaints using NLP’s active listening method
    • Turn an angry colleague / customer into a friend
    • Encourage others to follow your instructions using ‘soft-language’
    • Open a closed mind by following these 3 steps
    • How to build long-term goodwill : action plans and positive practices
    • Interactive session, role-plays, group assignment and presentation
