Course Objectives

In business, change is a constant and inevitable. More so now, the whole business environment is changing and evolving. Often the hardest changes to understand and adjust to are the ones that are unexpected and out of our control: a global pandemic, a recession, or a major disaster.  Changes of this magnitude can be difficult to come to terms with, but people often find that their experience of them can be made better or worse depending on their reaction and their attitude.

Participants will learn to:

  • Accept there are no normal or abnormal ways of reacting to change, but we must start from where we are.
  • Understand that adapting to change is not technical but attitudinal
  • Recognize the stages of adaptation to change
  • How to deal and embrace changes at work
  • See change as an opportunity for self-motivation and innovation.
  • Identify strategies for helping change be accepted and implemented in the workplace
