INTRODUCTION

Tej is one of the pioneers in quality system management development in Malaysia. Tej has been involved in quality management consulting and training for the past twenty five years. His last position was the Managing Consultant of a UK based international consulting firm’s Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur. Tej has trained over 50,000 personnel worldwide.

Tej’s ISO clients include Canon, Sony Technologies, Panasonic Group, Siemens Group, Showa, Telekom, TNB, Petronas, Sapura, MRCB, Turner and Townsend, Jetson Construction, Sony Logistics, Nationwide Express Courier Services, Health Solutions, Malaysian Bar Council, Hicom Group, NNR (freight forwarder), Sumitomo, Binary College, Hewlett Packard, Promutual (laundry), Cheang and Ariff (legal firm), Malaysian Sheet Glass and many others. He is SIRIM’s ISO 9001:2008 Approved Lead Auditor and also act as certification auditor to many other Certification Bodies.

Tej’s certification clients include Pos Malaysia, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri, HELP College University, KDU, Sharp Electronics, Institut Penilaian Negara, OCBC Bank and many others.

Tej has helped organizations implement the Automotive Quality Management System Standards (QS 9000 and ISO/TS 16949:2009). Clients include Panasonic, Omron, Delloyd Industries, Shinetsu (SEH), Shinetsu Malaysia, Tanashin (Indonesia), Lucas Automotive, Marutech, Possehl Electronics, NEC Semiconductors, Varitronix, Nifco Manufacturing, Brightrims, Henkel, 3M, Seng Chong Precision, Yano Electronics, Nichias Autopart and Technomeiji.

He has many long term clients, for instance Shin Etsu engaged him for ISO 9002:1987 consulting/training in 1992, for ISO 9002:1994 certification in 1994, for ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2001 and for QS 9000 certification in 1999.

He has presented numerous Lead Auditor Courses for SIRIM, Thai Industrial Standards Institute, Federation of Thai Industries, Dewan Standardidasi Nasional Indonesia, Vietnam, Shanghai Audit Centre and Kyrgyzstan Standards Body. He is also actively involved in training activities in Singapore.

Tej has a degree in Engineering and MBA (TQM). He is the Lead Tutor for IRCA approved ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training. He has been an IRCA (UK) Registered QMS Principal Auditor since 1993. He is also the Charter Member of ASQ’s Quality Audit Division. Tej has developed an approach to consultancy and training that is both practical and motivational. His approach is practical and focused utilizing these standards as a basis for continuous improvement. His ability to present lively training programs has made him a much sought after trainer.
