Mathy holds a Masters in Human Resource Development (majoring in Training & Development) from University Putra Malaysia. She brings with her more than 18 years of working experience in training and consultancy. Mathy is an experienced facilitator with over 18 years in-house corporate experience around Asia. She is passionate about learning and development and has been working in this space for ten years focusing on Change, Culture and People.
She was involved in the development and implementation of the Employability Skills initiated by Ministry Of Higher Education. Till date, Mathy is still actively involved in such consultancy work, which makes her one of the very few individuals with expertise in the full spectrum of the competency framework., especially focusing on Competency Based Interview Skills. Mathy also helps companies from different industries in adopting and implementing the Behavioural Interviewing Techniques, including developing training programmes and assessment plans, and providing training to course developers, trainers and assessors who come from a variety of occupations such as directors, lecturers, managers, new trainers and training administrators. Mathy conducts training for one of its core modules in Singapore, Competency Based Interviewing Techniques & HR for Non HR for Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
She is an expert in conducting extensive presentations in Employment Act 1955 congruent to Termination Process. She has also acted as a consultant for few organizations on setting up of the Domestic Enquiry Panels and advising on Employment Act 1955. She has done an extensive research on Eradication of Sexual Harassment at workplace. She has always been invited to be a panelist and guest speaker for Symposiums and Conferences, especially on the topic of Gender Harassment.
As an accredited Trainer of Genos Emotional Intelligence by Swinburne University, Mathy consistently receives positive reviews for her work. Self-starter with the ability to analyse organizational behaviour and recommend strategies to improve performance and maintain professionalism at all times.
Besides, holding an Honours Degree in Law, Mathy is also a certified Corporate Trainer by Deloitte United Kingdom and PSMB. She is a Law graduate from United Kingdom and has a certificate of Completion to the English Bar by Lincoln’s Inn (UK). Her experience in training allows her to infuse her natural enthusiasm and extensive practical experience with proven techniques to facilitate adult learning. She often focuses on the use of humor to facilitate change, which she believes lightens up the atmosphere and let people relax into learning. Her programs are noted for being, interactive, cerebral, energizing, and hands-on. She combines a practical facilitating style with a broad range of domain training experience, allied to her personal enthusiasm, to present dynamic and informative programs that participating audiences find easy to relate to.
